Advanced Technology

Vanguard Medical Technologies has been awarded funding by both National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health for use of data, semantic technologies, and informatics to address key challenges in value-based healthcare. To date, each funded effort has succeeded through multiple proof points, including meeting proposal success criteria, product development, creation of successful standalone spin-off companies, follow on venture and strategic financing, and commercial traction with leading health systems such as Harvard, Stanford, and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. To date, NSF and NIH investments in Vanguard Medical Technologies have led to a 10x multiple of follow on institutional investment and tens of thousands of lives influenced.
